A traditional Montessori school, BMS adheres to the teachings and principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. The school is fully equipped with the Montessori materials as well as many handmade items to stimulate the child's mind and creativity. Its rooms are bright and cheerful. Its staff is dedicated and caring. It is the hope of the school that each student will grow in knowledge, self-reliance, confidence and social graces. Music, Art and French instruction are integral parts of our Montessori program.

BMS is staffed with Association Montessori Internationale teachers with a total of 74 years of experience. The staff is well trained and long terms. Our location is 3 blocks from the Metro, in the heart of Bethesda.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, so we focus all of our attention on the 80 students who attend here at BMS each year.
