WE can submit your DMV exam results directly to MVA for you, online. We carry all brands of progressives with all the special features available. We carry specialty sports glasses for kids and adults along with prescription swim goggles and professional scuba masks with the largest selection of children's frames in the area. We happily place new prescription into existing frames without you having to leave your frames here. Our onsite laboratory can make eyewear while you wait, for scheduled edges and standard RX.

How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
Eye exams, all types and a retail optical store.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
i have been doing this for 20 years. I have been wearing glasses since I was 2 and a half. My eyes are "unusual" and the way they corrected fascinated me. I am an ABO Certified Optician because I live in a state that requires no licence but, all states that do, require this test. I wanted a piece of paper to prove I knew what I was doing. I took it my 3rd year in the field and have remained in good standing ever since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
WE want our patient's to come back. we take all insurance and treat all customers the same, regardless of socio-economic backgrounds. We want people to look great, see great and stay in a budget they are comfortable with. 43 (and counting) reviews on Yelp and still have 4.5 stars is unheard of in the zipcode/area.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 location with a tentative plan to look into the prospect when we have been in business in this location for about 10 years.

Intersection of University Blvd and Colesville Rd. In the Woodmoor shopping center, next to the Starbucks and flower shop. (Everyone knows where we are after that sentence, if local. All others use maps on the their phone)

"Super fun environment. I never thought of buying glasses as "fun" until now. Judy and Heidy love what they do and it shows in their honest opinions which made me walk out with a pair of glasses I adore but would NEVER have tried on if these 2 forces of nature we not here to help"
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"Problem Solved!" said by me, daily, whenever someone gets into a situation that causes chaos. I think of a different approach that is amenable to all parties.
