How long have you been in business?
I have been working with glass since 2002
What is your primary product or service?
I design functional and sculptural fused glass work. I also can create custom work for the home; office or for a gift. I teach small classes of up to 4 people with no experience necessary. I have an in-home gallery with work for sale by appointment only.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I owned an Advertising and graphic design business for 30 years and am trained as a designer so I have been an artist for most of my life.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Waverly Street Gallery is the only co op gallery in the area. We have a new show every month and the artists are always brining in new pieces to the gallery. We also have a monthly reception on the second Friday of every month except August, when we are closed.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location with no plans for another one.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Since my studio, gallery and classes are at my home by appointment only, I give my address once I have confirmed with the client. I am located in Bethesda.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept cash, check and credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
I have had clients from many states.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?

What are your hours of operation?
By appointment only.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That my work makes them happy. That they love my classes and how they never thought they could create a glass piece of art.
