We at Now and Then Dance Studios are celebrating our 35th anniversary, which makes that a statement in and of itself.
With three convenient Washington DC Metro locations in Maryland and Virginia, we have been helping adults of all ages to enhance their lives through dance. And we’re growing! Locations four and five are in the planning stages.
We credit our success to the quality, ease, and simplicity of our method of instruction. In addition we place great emphasis on lots of personal attention. At our studios you are not just another client, but someone very special.
We have learned that sometimes men are more reluctant than women to take dance lessons. We understand! Sometimes picking up the phone to ask for help with dancing can be difficult.
We realize how important and personal it is to call a total stranger to inquire about dance lessons. We try to make this process as easy and welcoming as possible.

We've been in business for over 38 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We teach ballroom dance instruction, which encompasses teaching the following dances: Fox Trot, Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, Tango, Merengue, Samba, Mambo, Polka, Salsa, Hand Dancing, Hustle, Social Dancing, and Partner Dancing.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer a lot of personal attention to each and all of our students. We emphasize technique and styling. We feel that it is extremely important to dance correctly, comfortably, and look great doing it.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At the moment there are three locations, and we hope/plan to expand in the future.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, personal checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover
Which areas do you service?
All of Montgomery County, Prince George's, Frederick, Fairfax, Arlington, Falls Church, Sterling, McLean.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Each location has a director.

Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 10:00pm.
