How long have you been in business?
Since 1985 in various iterations. PCC was formed in 2006 to facilitate humanitarian and infrastructure projects globally. On a local level, in 2013, we added a focus on local real estate distressed property acquisition, rehab and resale.
What is your primary product or service?
Think of an orchestra. There are several sections that form the whole, and there is one conductor who directs the sections at the appropriate time. Our role is to create (or Catalyze) the opportunity to create an "orchestra" of private investors, general contractors, subcontractors, and marketing experts including Realtors(tm) on the other side of the rehabilitation. We conduct the orchestra so that it creates desirable results. Uplifted neighborhood property values, relief for note-holders on non-performing properties, jobs for contractor and subcontractors, revenue to the marketing team reselling the property, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the safe return of the private investor's money including the principal and accumulated interested while the property is being rehabilitated.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a formerly licensed Maryland and DC real estate salesperson, and former licensed Maryland Mortgage Originator, I have always had an interest in real estate as a wealth-building mechanism. Over the years I have invested in property, made some money, lost some money, and have learned many valuable lessons from both my experience and training. With today's real estate environment, opportunities exist in the REO (bank-owned), foreclosure, abandoned and vacant properties, and in some sectors commercial real estate opportunities as well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Relationships are critical... and really the only thing that first matters. There are many people who have some skill sets in specialized areas. However, the integrity, trustworthiness, honesty, and the need for confidentiality is not always a focus of the specialist. Over the years, interpersonal relationship training, mediation skills, negotiation skills and the varied background that I bring to the table, plus an innate ability to work with people of all walks of life, make me a unique individual a client or investor can embrace and trust. I will never try to "sell" something for the sake of selling. My first job is to know and understand my investors, contracting team, marketing team and legal team, and to orchestrate all of them in the right order.

One location. Global presence. Local focus. Plans are being formulated for growth as a firm, adding the right mix of people with special skills, aimed at expanding the business quickly.
