The Rockville Day Care Association has been providing quality child development programs throughout Montgomery County, Maryland since 1969. We have served the Woodlin community since 1994. We are adjacent to Woodlin Elementary School. The center is open from 7:00am until 6:30pm. We are open most of the days Montgomery County Public Schools are closed and provide summer programs as well. How long have you been in business?
The Association has been in operations since 1969. We have provided the program at Woodlin CDC since 1994.
What is your primary product or service?
Preschool Programs for children age 2 - 5 years and before and after school child care for students attending Woodlin Elementary School. Care is also provided on most days Mont. Co. Public Schools (MCPS) are closed for students. Summer programs are also available.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The Executive Director began Rockville Day Care in 1969 because she saw the need for quality child development programs for working families in Montgomery County, Maryland.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a private, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, we have over 40 years of experience in providing programs for children ages 18 months through 12 years of age, and as an Association we provide administrative oversight, leadership and support of all of our child development programs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have eight program locations throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. We have no plans for expansion at this time, however, we are always open to meeting community needs if a new program is desired.
