Born and raised in the Washington metropolitan area, Mr. Schwartz resides in Montgomery County with his wife and son. A jeweler for 40 years, Schwartz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 concentrating in jewelry fabrication and casting and received his Master of Education degree in 1982 from the University of Maryland. He has built a national reputation as an artist and metalsmith.
